Yoga with Leanne offers an accessible and gentle style of Yoga Asana and Yoga theory (The Eight Limbs of Yoga) uncovering the profound connection between the mind and body. Through movement, intentional breathing, and focused awareness we explore our mind-body connection embarking on a journey to deepen our relationship with ourselves. By intentionally linking breath with movement, we enhance our self awareness, calm the mind and create a sense of harmony with the body

Deep, mindful breathing and slow flowing movement activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes beautiful feelings of deep connection to self, reducing stress and enhancing our overall sense of wellbeing and contentment

As we consciously flow through sequences of movements and stretches, we focus on exploring the body and the rhythm of the breath, relieving tension, strengthening the body and improving our posture

By paying attention to the subtle sensations, strengths and limitations in the body we can make adjustments and modifications that support our wellbeing and deepen our Yoga practice. This enhanced self-awareness and supportive relationship with ourselves extends beyond the Yoga mat and into daily life

Using Yoga theory, mindful movement, releasing sighs and hums, breathing techniques, moments of quiet and stillness with a relaxing sound bath in preparation for meditation to finish. This practice can result in a deep meditative state of relaxation, restoration and rebalance; that often results in us sitting quietly at the end of the session, immersed in our Samadhi {a meditative state of consciousness}. Resulting in us feeling more comfortable in the body and content in the mind
